Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct engaging and effective therapy sessions via our secure online platform, ensuring a comfortable environment for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will work primarily with a diverse range of adult clients who may be facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Your role will involve building trusting relationships and establishing therapeutic alliances that empower clients to explore their feelings and develop coping strategies for life’s challenges.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • Current licensure in Maryland as one of the following: LMFT, LCMFT, LCPC, LCSW-C, or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).
  • Proven experience in providing effective individual therapy in a virtual environment.
  • Strong comfort level with technology and various telehealth platforms used for remote sessions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to create a supportive therapeutic environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in providing therapy to specific populations such as adolescents, families, or individuals in crisis.
