This remote position provides a flexible work setting which enables you to create a balanced work-life routine. Although you will primarily work from home, there is an outpatient office in Spokane, Washington, where you may occasionally collaborate with other healthcare professionals. • Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations of patients to assess their needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing counseling sessions to patients, offering a compassionate ear while listening to their concerns and guiding them through their mental health struggles.
• Diagnose mental and emotional disorders utilizing established assessment protocols and tools.
• Develop and implement effective coping strategies and treatment plans tailored to individual patients.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary modifications to treatment plans based on therapeutic developments.
• Educate and empower patients by providing resources and techniques for managing stress and trauma.
• Collaborate with social and medical agencies, healthcare providers, and community outreach programs to ensure comprehensive service delivery for patients.
• Stay current with industry standards and practices by completing continuing education courses to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification.

Your primary focus will be working with individuals who have experienced trauma injuries, helping them navigate complex emotional processes and offering therapeutic support. By understanding the unique challenges faced by this patient population, you will be able to tailor your approach effectively and ensure they receive the best care possible. • A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, demonstrating your foundational knowledge and expertise in the field.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
• A minimum of three years of experience working with trauma patients, showcasing your ability to handle complex situations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to document and manage patient progress effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Experience using Salesforce and EMR software is a significant advantage, as these tools facilitate patient management and record-keeping.
• Knowledge of advanced trauma therapy modalities can enhance treatment efficacy.
