About the Role
We are partnering with a large, well-established insurance brokerage in Downtown Los Angeles to find a professional and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist. This is a short-term contract opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate. The role offers valuable exposure to a professional corporate office environment within the insurance industry.

Job Description
As the Front Desk Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees, ensuring smooth daily front office operations. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Answering and directing incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Welcoming, greeting, and assisting visitors, clients, and vendors upon arrival.
  • Maintaining a positive and professional front office environment.
  • Receiving, sorting, distributing, and preparing incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Coordinating deliveries and ensuring packages are routed appropriately.
  • Assisting with office administrative tasks, filing, and general clerical support as needed.
  • Monitoring and maintaining organization of the front desk and reception area.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and presentation.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and carry mail, packages, and office supplies up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the office as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a receptionist, front desk associate, administrative assistant, or in a customer service role.
  • Prior experience supporting a corporate or professional services office environment.
