• Deliver high-quality counseling services through individual, group, and family therapy tailored to the specific needs of clients.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical best practices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and educational personnel, to ensure coordinated and effective treatment delivery.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes using our electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and feedback, striving for continuous improvement in therapeutic approaches.

The primary focus of your counseling practice will be youth aged 5 to 18 years who exhibit various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. You will work closely with their families, fostering an inclusive approach to treatment that acknowledges the critical role caregivers play in the therapeutic process. Your ability to engage with both youth and their families will be vital in helping clients achieve positive outcomes.

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Active license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health counseling services, preferably in an outpatient or child-adolescent setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and families.
• Proficient understanding of evidence-based counseling techniques and therapies; experience with trauma-informed care is a plus.
• Commitment to upholding confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards of conduct in all professional interactions.

• Experience working with youth and family systems in a multicultural context.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and treatment planning software.
• Participation in ongoing professional development related to mental health counseling practices and trends.
• Knowledge of local community resources and referral systems to enhance client support.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $76,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
