Job description

Physiatrist/PM&R Physician- Remote (Spanish bilingual)

Positions: Full time.

Type of the job: Full-time Remote, Virtual Physician.

Spanish bilingual required.

PM&R Physiatry MSK Physician required.

Essential Functions:

  • Virtually evaluate, diagnose and treat patients Monday-Friday.
  • Regular clinic schedule includes at least one evening per week
  • Participation in after-hour call schedule
  • Saturday clinic, on a rotating basis, will be added in the future. This would likely involve one Saturday per month.
  • Participate in weekly patient rounds
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, etc.

Education and certification & Requirements:

  • Board certification in one of the following:
  • Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with MSK/Sports/Spine Fellowship
  • Family Medicine with MSK/Sports/Spine Fellowship
  • Emergency Medicine with MSK/Sports/Spine Fellowship
  • Internal Medicine with MSK/Sports/Spine Fellowship
  • MD/DO with unrestricted license in United States and Puerto Rico and at least 3 years clinical practice after training
  • Will be expected to disclose any impediments to multi-state licensure at the beginning of the interview process so that necessary accommodations.
  • English and Spanish speaking
  • Experience with virtual care delivery
  • Willingness to obtain multiple state licenses
  • Proven record of matching patient needs to treatment plans and proven record of implementing these plans safely and effectively
  • Ability to describe medical conditions in an understandable fashion
  • Experience administering a wide range of techniques delivered digitally
  • Strong sense of empathy, a compassionate outlook and the ability to motivate patients into pushing their limits in a responsible, safe way
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • High speed internet + ability to work from home

Preferred states: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, New Jersey, Tennessee, and Texas, California, Connecticut, New York, Ohio, Minnesota, Utah, and Georgia.
