• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately identify clients’ social, emotional, and psychological needs, enabling tailored intervention strategies.
• Provide individual and group counseling to clients facing a variety of challenges, employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches designed to facilitate healing and resilience.
• Develop and implement personalized service plans that align with clients’ goals and objectives, ensuring measurable progress in their journey toward recovery.
• Advocate vigorously for clients’ rights and access to essential resources, ensuring that they are informed and empowered to address social justice issues affecting their lives.
• Contribute to the development, evaluation, and reporting of programs, including grant writing, to enhance the sustainability of our services.
• Collaborate seamlessly with community organizations, government agencies, and volunteers to expand our resources and enhance service delivery.
• Engage in team meetings, participate in ongoing training, and attend community outreach activities to promote awareness and understanding of our mission.

The clients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds, many facing significant challenges related to mental health, trauma, substance use, and socio-economic instability. You will work closely with them, utilizing a trauma-informed care approach to ensure the services provided are considerate of their unique experiences and needs. Your efforts will directly contribute to our overarching goal of fostering community empowerment and improving overall well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with team members.

• Experience working in a nonprofit organization or similar community-based setting is preferred, showcasing your commitment to social justice and advocacy.
• Familiarity with community resources, trauma-informed care principles, and advocacy strategies to effectively support clients in need.
