Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at Care for Young Minds Therapy. This full-time remote position in Medford, Oregon, focuses on providing high-quality social work services within a detox center setting. As an LCSW, you will play a critical role in supporting clients through their recovery journey, improving their overall well-being, and enabling them to achieve lasting changes in their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive remote social work services to clients, including individual counseling, family therapy, and crisis intervention.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clientsโ€™ psychological and social needs, developing tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
  • Coordinate services and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, medical professionals, and community organizations to deliver holistic and effective care.
  • Advocate for clientsโ€™ rights and ensure their access to necessary resources, including housing, employment, and social services.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans using our secure electronic health record systems.
  • Facilitate educational workshops and support groups to engage clients and their families in the recovery process.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with clients within a detox center environment, supporting individuals facing substance use challenges and co-occurring mental health issues. Understanding the complexities of addiction and mental health is essential, as you'll be helping clients navigate their recovery paths in a compassionate and empathetic manner. Your expertise will be paramount in fostering trust and rapport with clients, guiding them towards positive lifestyle changes and emotional healing.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in Oregon.
  • Strong foundation in trauma-informed care approaches and a thorough understanding of addiction recovery processes.
  • High-level communication skills, with demonstrated ability to empathize, listen effectively, and adapt your approach to meet the diverse needs of clients.
  • Proficiency in remote work technologies and electronic health record management.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of three years of direct experience in clinical social work, especially within detox or rehabilitation settings.

Compensation and Benefits
