Remote SBC professionals often encounter challenges related to network security, interoperability between different VoIP systems, and maintaining high call quality across distributed environments. Addressing these requires strong troubleshooting skills, up-to-date knowledge of security protocols, and familiarity with SIP standards. Collaborating closely with network engineers, IT security teams, and service providers is essential to quickly resolve issues and ensure seamless communication. What is a Remote Session Border Controller (SBC)?

A Remote Session Border Controller (SBC) is a network device or software application that manages and secures Voice over IP (VoIP) communications at the edge of networks, especially in remote or cloud-based environments.
