Tranquil Haven Counseling is seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapists (LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT) for a full-time remote role within a school setting. • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings, employing standardized tools and evidence-based practices to determine the mental health needs of students.
• Provide focused individual counseling sessions, crisis intervention services, and therapeutic support tailored to the unique challenges faced by students.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops addressing topics such as stress management, coping strategies, and social-emotional learning.
• Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork, collaborating with educators, school administrators, and external medical teams to ensure comprehensive care for students.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives and preventive programs, including mental wellness days and educational workshops for parents and staff.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA laws and ethical standards.

This position primarily serves a school population of diverse students facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related difficulties. The therapist will adapt interventions to meet the cultural and demographic needs of the community while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.

• An active state license in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Demonstrated understanding of mental health issues common within school settings, including developmental, social, and academic factors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with students, parents, and faculty.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapy models suitable for school counseling, with a strong commitment to ethical practices.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing a varied caseload while prioritizing student needs effectively.

• A minimum of three years of experience in a mental health counseling role, ideally within a school or educational context.
• Experience in conducting family therapy or collaborating with caregivers.
• Prior involvement with mental health awareness programs or school-based mental health initiatives.

• Annual salary range of $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
