As an LCSW at Cornerstone Mental Health Counseling, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Utilizing a billing service that efficiently manages claims, client accounts receivable, and insurance eligibility checks, allowing you to focus on therapy rather than administrative tasks.
• Providing high-quality individual and couples therapy tailored to the needs of students of varying ages and backgrounds.
• Diligently maintaining thorough and timely notes and record-keeping for all clients, adhering to ethical and professional standards.
• Scheduling and managing ongoing appointments, ensuring that your calendar remains organized and up-to-date.
• Effectively handling a range of clinical presentations, from anxiety and depression to more complex issues that may require specialized therapeutic approaches.

Your work will primarily focus on supporting students through their mental health challenges, such as those related to academic pressures, peer relationships, and family dynamics. By establishing strong therapeutic relationships, you will facilitate their personal development and enhance their overall well-being. Your contributions are vital in creating a supportive environment where students feel safe to express their thoughts and emotions.

To succeed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with us, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A valid independent LCSW license in the state of Virginia.
• A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Professional demeanor with excellent therapeutic boundaries, cultural competency, and strong organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with a demonstrated capacity to manage time effectively and work independently.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and the enhancement of therapeutic skills.

While not mandatory, the following experiences will be highly regarded:

• Training and/or significant experience in couples therapy.
• Experience working in a school setting or with adolescents.
• Familiarity with remote counseling platforms and tools.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, in addition to a sign-on bonus. Employees can expect to receive:
