Job Descriptions (Including but not limited to):

The role of the Scheduling Assistant encompasses various responsibilities, including confirming upcoming appointments and ensuring the timely receipt of notices to the plaintiff’s counsel. Beyond these key tasks, the Scheduling Assistant plays a crucial role in triaging incoming calls with precision and providing valuable support to the Scheduling Coordinators in the execution of their daily duties.

The role of the Scheduling Intake Assistant includes data entry of new requests from clients via email, telephone, and fax and timely communications with internal staff. Beyond these core responsibilities, the Scheduling Intake Assistant plays a vital role in prioritizing incoming calls and emails, ensuring proper and effective responses. This position also provides essential administrative support to the Scheduling Coordinators, helping to facilitate the efficient execution of daily scheduling activities.

The Scheduling Coordinator plays a pivotal role in fulfilling client requests for medical and professional experts. This includes timely and effective communication with clients, scheduling and managing expert appointments, and serving as a liaison between the defense and expert(s) or between the defense and plaintiff counsels. The role also entails responding promptly to all client communications within defined timeframes.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, and use standard office equipment for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required.

Working Conditions

Employees residing within 75 miles of the office may be required to maintain regular in-office attendance. Employees residing outside of 75 miles may be required to travel intermittently to the office (travel expenses covered by the company) and attend company-hosted events with advance notice.
