Search & Comparison IntentScheduling tasks, appointment management, remote scheduling jobsReception duties, patient communication, front desk support

Remote Dental Scheduling focuses on managing appointment calendars and scheduling patients remotely, requiring familiarity with scheduling software. Remote Dental Receptionist involves broader front desk duties, including patient communication and administrative support. Both roles are home-based and serve dental practices, but they differ mainly in scope and daily tasks.

What are some typical challenges faced by remote dental schedulers, and how can they be managed?

Remote dental schedulers often encounter challenges such as managing last-minute appointment changes, handling multiple communication channels (phone, email, online portals), and ensuring patient confidentiality while working from home. Staying organized with digital scheduling tools and maintaining proactive communication with both dental staff and patients are key strategies for success. Additionally, remote schedulers should adhere to HIPAA guidelines and participate in regular team meetings to stay updated on office protocols and changes.

What is remote dental scheduling?

Remote dental scheduling involves managing dental appointments and patient communications from a location outside of the dental office, often working from home or a remote office. Professionals in this role use scheduling software and phone systems to book, confirm, or reschedule appointments and may also handle patient inquiries, insurance verification, and reminders. This helps dental practices run smoothly by ensuring efficient patient flow and reducing missed appointments, all while providing flexibility for the scheduler.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Dental Scheduler, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Dental Scheduler, you need excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in dental office procedures, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with dental scheduling software (such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft), electronic health record systems, and basic office tools is typically required. Strong communication, customer service orientation, and the ability to multitask are essential soft skills for effectively managing patient appointments and inquiries. These skills are vital to ensure smooth appointment flow, minimize scheduling errors, and provide a positive experience for both patients and dental staff.

Job description

Location: Remote (Based in the U.S. โ€” Brooklyn, NY HQ)
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Base Salary + High-Earning Commission Structure

About Us:
Bensonhurst Dental is a nationally recognized cosmetic and implant dental practice based in Brooklyn, New York. Led by celebrity-trusted Dr. Rubinshtein, we specialize in advanced smile transformations, same-day smile makeovers, and premium patient care. Our team is known for combining clinical excellence with luxury-level service โ€” and weโ€™re growing fast.
Weโ€™re currently seeking a Remote Dental Treatment Closer to help qualified leads move forward with life-changing dental procedures. If you have experience in high-trust sales and are motivated by helping others improve their health and confidence, this could be your next big opportunity.
About the Role:ย
As a Remote Dental Treatment Closer, youโ€™ll work with warm leads โ€” individuals who have already inquired about treatment โ€” and guide them through the consultation and decision-making process. Your role is to understand their goals, explain treatment options clearly, and confidently close the sale.
This is a consultative role that requires emotional intelligence, product knowledge, and the ability to build trust quickly โ€” all from a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct virtual consultations with prospective patients for treatments including same-day smiles, dental implants, and cosmetic procedures.
  • Present personalized treatment plans and clearly communicate associated costs, timelines, and expected outcomes.
  • Handle patient concerns and objections with empathy and professionalism.
  • Follow up with undecided leads and help guide them toward scheduling treatment.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a seamless transition to care.
  • Maintain detailed records in our CRM and meet/exceed monthly performance goals.
  • Stay current with Bensonhurst Dentalโ€™s treatment offerings and technology.
What Weโ€™re Looking For:
  • 2+ years of experience in dental sales, treatment coordination, or healthcare consultations.
  • In-depth knowledge of cosmetic, implant, or restorative dentistry strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to close high-ticket treatment plans in a remote or virtual setting.
  • Comfortable using CRM software, video platforms (Zoom, etc.), and digital tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with a consultative, compassionate approach.
  • Self-starter with strong follow-through and results orientation.
What We Offer:
  • Base salary + uncapped commission (high earning potential for top performers).
  • Fully remote position with flexible scheduling.
  • Supportive team environment with regular training and mentorship.
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on peopleโ€™s lives through smile transformation.
  • Career growth within a nationally recognized dental brand.
To Apply:
Submit your resume and a brief cover letter or intro message explaining why you're the perfect fit for this role. Weโ€™re looking for someone who can inspire confidence, close effectively, and represent our brand with integrity.
