As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments to evaluate the specific needs of patients facing trauma-related issues.
• Listening actively to patients' concerns and crafting detailed treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Designing coping strategies and therapeutic interventions that empower patients to manage their mental health effectively.
• Monitoring patient progress by conducting regular follow-up sessions and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Educating patients about stress management and trauma coping mechanisms to enhance their resilience.
• Coordinating with healthcare providers, social services, and community outreach programs to ensure comprehensive support for patients.
• Participating in continuous education to maintain certification and to stay abreast of the latest mental health practices and innovations in trauma recovery.

The primary focus of this role is to support individuals who have experienced trauma. Our patients often face a variety of challenges, from acute stress reactions to chronic mental health issues stemming from their experiences. You will work to provide understanding, empathy, and professional guidance to help them achieve lasting recovery and improved quality of life.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.
• Active and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.
• A minimum of three years of experience working with trauma patients is essential.
• Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
• Experience with Salesforce and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is highly advantageous.

While not required, candidates with additional certifications in trauma-informed care or specialized training in specific therapeutic modalities may find their skills advantageous in this role. Previous work in community health settings and experience in crisis intervention are valuable assets.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes:
