Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Overview:

Elite Insurance Group is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate and qualify new business opportunities across both personal and commercial insurance lines. This role is responsible for building pipelines through a combination of inbound lead follow-up and outbound prospecting.


This is an ideal opportunity for someone with prior insurance industry experience who is driven, coachable, and looking to grow within a high-performance independent agency environment.


Schedule & Expectations:

  • Standard working hours are MondayFriday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM CST
  • This role is performance-driven, and additional hours may be required or chosen based on individual goals and income targets
  • High performers often choose to work beyond standard hours to maximize earning potential and pipeline growth

Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Outreach:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and text to generate new opportunities
  • Respond quickly and effectively to inbound leads
  • Identify and engage prospective clients across personal and commercial lines

Qualification & Appointment Setting:

  • Qualify leads based on fit, needs, and readiness to buy
  • Schedule appointments and transfer qualified opportunities to licensed agents
  • Maintain consistent follow-up to nurture leads

Pipeline & CRM Management:

  • Track all activity and lead progress within EZLynx CRM
  • Maintain clean, organized, and up-to-date records
  • Collaborate with agents to ensure smooth handoff of opportunities

Performance Expectations:

  • Meet or exceed daily and weekly activity targets (calls, conversations, appointments set)
  • Consistently hit monthly qualified appointment goals
  • Continuously improve conversion rates and outreach effectiveness

Requirements
  • 1+ years of insurance industry experience preferred
  • Prior experience in insurance sales, agency support, SDR/BDR work, or customer service within an insurance agency strongly preferred
  • Independent insurance agency experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills (phone, text, and email)
  • High level of energy, persistence, and resilience
  • Coachable and performance-driven mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
  • Experience with CRM systems (EZLynx or similar) is a plus
