Job description

You will help strengthen and protect critical water infrastructure systems by developing strategies that improve reliability, adaptability, and continuity of service. Your expertise in resilience planning, climate adaptation, and vulnerability assessments will directly support infrastructure hardening and risk mitigation initiatives. In this role, you will influence long-term resiliency investments that prepare utility systems for evolving environmental and operational threats. This is an opportunity to shape future-state resilience for essential public infrastructure.

This opportunity is contingent on our client being awarded the contract. 

WORKSITE: Remote 
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday PST hours 
PAY RATE: $110.00/hour W2

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Conduct infrastructure resilience and vulnerability assessments
• Evaluate risks to critical water systems and recommend mitigation strategies
• Support climate adaptation and resilience planning initiatives
• Develop resilience roadmaps and infrastructure hardening strategies
• Identify service continuity risks and improvement opportunities
• Advise on resilience-focused infrastructure investment priorities

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
• 15+ years of experience in infrastructure resilience, planning, or utility operations
• Background in civil engineering, utility planning, or resilience strategy
• Expertise in climate adaptation, seismic resilience, and wildfire mitigation
• Strong knowledge of critical asset identification and continuity planning
• Experience supporting public infrastructure resilience initiatives
• California utility or public-sector resilience experience preferred
