• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of students, allowing for the development of individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices to help students effectively navigate their challenges and enhance their coping strategies.
• Set realistic and achievable treatment goals in collaboration with students, adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Document client progress meticulously, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment plans that comply with state and federal regulations.
• Work alongside the clinical director to conduct chart audits and validate the accuracy of individual and group session notes.

Your work will primarily focus on students dealing with mental health disorders and substance use issues. These individuals often face additional pressures, such as academic performance, social interactions, and family dynamics, which can exacerbate their conditions. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a supportive and trusting relationship with each client, guiding them towards recovery and resilience.

• A Master's degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• An active LCSW license in California, demonstrating your commitment to the profession and adherence to professional standards.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in social work, specifically in substance use or mental health centers.
• Strong understanding of mental health frameworks, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based practices relevant to school-aged populations.

• Hands-on experience in a school setting, managing the complexities of adolescent mental health and establishing rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic techniques, combined with effective case management skills.

This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
