Position Overview

The Forge Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team. This full-time role is pivotal to providing high-quality mental health services to individuals grappling with mental health disorders or co-occurring substance use issues. As a Senior LCSW, you will take a leading role in crafting personalized treatment plans and facilitating therapeutic interventions that support our clients on their path to recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to understand their individual circumstances and tailor treatment plans that may include individual therapy, group therapy, and evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions that encourage clients to confront their challenges, providing support to promote meaningful change.
• Work collaboratively with clients to establish realistic treatment goals that adhere to ethical and legal standards, ensuring consistent progress and awareness.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and adherence to state and federal regulations, ensuring compliance in all record-keeping.
• Conduct regular audits of client charts in collaboration with the clinical director, ensuring that all notes regarding individual and group sessions are up-to-date and thorough.
• Participate actively in staff meetings and clinical supervision, enhancing the team’s ability to deliver effective care.
• Engage with quality improvement initiatives to evaluate and enhance the quality of services provided to our clients.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and nurses, to ensure holistic treatment and comprehensive care for each client.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree from an accredited program in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinically relevant experience in social work, mental health, or substance use treatment settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in direct clinical practice, with a solid background in case management and mental health interventions.
• Strong computer skills, including experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, enhancing documentation and communication efforts.
• Exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in group therapy facilitation and leading therapeutic workshops.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment models specific to addiction and mental health care.
• Knowledge of local community resources to support client referrals and holistic recovery approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
