The Distribution Administration Manager - Channel Operations is a fully dedicated administrative and operational role responsible for managing the end-to-end business relationship between Vizrt and its distributor partner.

This role serves as the central operational coordination point between Vizrt and the distributor ecosystem, ensuring alignment across sales operations, forecasting, inventory management, renewals, marketing coordination, and partner enablement activities.

The Distribution Administration Manager does not own direct sales execution but ensures that all operational processes, data flows, reporting cadence, and cross-functional coordination are executed accurately, consistently, and efficiently.

This role works in close partnership with:

  • Sales Development Representative (SDR) - Channel Distribution
  • Technical Sales Specialist - Channel Enablement
  • Distributor sales and operations teams
  • Distributor marketing teams
  • Vizrt Sales leadership
  • Vizrt Customer Solution Advisory and Product teams

The Distribution Administration Manager acts as the operational backbone of the channel model, ensuring that SDR-driven pipeline, Technical Specialist enablement, and distributor execution are fully aligned and effectively operationalized.

Operating Model Position

The Distribution Administration Manager sits at the center of the channel execution system:

  • SDR (Demand Engine): Generates and qualifies pipeline
  • Technical Sales Specialist (Enablement Engine): Enables technical validation and deal progression
  • Distribution Administration Manager (Operational Engine): Ensures execution, governance, reporting, forecasting, and alignment
  • Distributor (Execution Engine): Owns resell, closing, and customer relationship execution

Requirements

1. Distributor Relationship & Operational Governance

  • Serve as the primary operational liaison between Vizrt and the distributor.
  • Maintain structured communication cadence with distributor leadership and operational teams.
  • Ensure alignment between Vizrt channel strategy and distributor execution.
  • Manage governance of operational processes, reporting standards, and business rules.
  • Track execution of agreed sales, marketing, and operational activities.
  • Identify and escalate operational risks, gaps, or misalignment.

2. Cross-Functional Channel Coordination (SDR + Technical + Distributor)

  • Coordinate daily and weekly alignment between SDR, Technical Sales Specialist, and distributor teams.
  • Ensure SDR-generated leads are properly routed, tracked, and followed up within distributor ecosystem.
  • Ensure Technical Sales Specialist engagement is aligned with active qualified opportunities.
  • Maintain visibility of opportunity lifecycle progression across all stakeholders.
  • Facilitate structured handoffs between SDR Distributor Technical Specialist Sales execution teams.
  • Ensure no breakdowns in lead flow, qualification, or technical engagement processes.

3. Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Own daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting for distributor performance.
  • Support Revenue Operations team and give input to Power BI dashboards for:
    • Sell-through (sales-out)
    • Inventory levels and product run rates
    • Forecast vs actual performance
    • Pipeline and demand trends (in coordination with SDR data)
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across distributor reporting inputs.
  • Provide operational insights to Vizrt leadership for decision-making.

4. Forecasting, Planning & Order Management

  • Facilitate monthly order and forecast alignment meetings with distributor purchasing and sales teams.
  • Compare distributor forecast with Vizrt forecast and identify variances.
  • Ensure purchase order timing aligns with agreed monthly planning cycle.
  • Support demand planning through data-driven insights from SDR pipeline and historical sell-through trends.
  • Track product demand trends and inform inventory planning decisions.

5. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Monitor distributor inventory levels and product availability.
  • Provide daily visibility into inventory status and run-rate performance.
  • Identify potential supply risks or overstock situations.
  • Coordinate with Vizrt operations teams to support demand-supply alignment.
  • Ensure inventory insights are integrated into forecasting discussions.

6. Lead Governance & Channel Compliance

  • Ensure proper lead routing according to channel rules and partner prioritization model.
  • Enforce lead assignment structure:
    • Platinum partners prioritized
    • Gold partners assigned based on geography when needed
  • Ensure SDR leads are properly distributed to distributor and reseller ecosystem.
  • Maintain compliance with lead-sharing policies (including merchant reseller exceptions for ProTek renewals).
  • Track lead lifecycle governance and follow-up accountability.

7. Renewals, Returns & Operational Follow-Up

  • Manage monthly tracking of:
    • ProTek renewals
    • Standard renewals
    • Refunds
    • Returns
  • Ensure distributor accountability for renewal pipeline execution.
  • Coordinate renewal visibility between SDR, distributor, and Vizrt stakeholders.
  • Support operational resolution of customer lifecycle issues.

8. Marketing & Channel Program Coordination

  • Coordinate weekly marketing alignment between distributor marketing and Vizrt demand generation teams.
  • Support execution of distributor marketing initiatives and regional trade shows.
  • Ensure SDR campaigns and Technical Specialist enablement activities are aligned with marketing execution.
  • Track effectiveness of channel marketing programs and feedback loops.

9. Business Reviews & Strategic Cadence

  • Support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with distributor leadership.
  • Prepare performance reporting and insights for QBRs.
  • Facilitate annual distributor sales meetings and off-site planning sessions.
  • Ensure action tracking and follow-up from all business reviews.
