The role incorporates state-of-the-art software for secure video conferencing and electronic health record management. You will join a team of multidisciplinary professionals who collaborate virtually to provide integrated mental health services.

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients accurately.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s specific challenges.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling sessions leveraging therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), focusing on their effectiveness within a telehealth context.
• Utilize systematic tracking and evaluation mechanisms to assess clients’ progress and adjust treatment modalities accordingly.
• Provide crisis intervention services and ensure appropriate referrals for specialized care when necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, medical professionals, and social service providers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that complies with both state and federal regulations, leveraging digital records management systems.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and innovations in mental health treatment.

In this role, you will work primarily with adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. • Active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in New York State, in good standing.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, particularly in telehealth environments.
