• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patients to determine their needs and customize treatment plans tailored specifically to addressing their mental health conditions.
• Engage in one-on-one counselling sessions to actively listen to patients, understand their challenges, and foster a therapeutic relationship conducive to healing.
• Diagnose mental health disorders as per established guidelines, utilizing evidence-based practices to inform your treatment strategies.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans incorporating coping strategies, and regularly monitor patient progress, adjusting plans as necessary for optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on stress management and trauma coping mechanisms, empowering them with the knowledge to take an active role in their recovery.
• Collaborate with external healthcare providers, social services, and community outreach programs to seamlessly integrate additional support services for patients.
• Stay abreast of developments in the field of mental health through ongoing education and professional development in line with National Certified Counselor standards.

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field is required.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential is essential.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are critical for effective patient interaction.

• Experience with Salesforce and EMR systems is highly beneficial, as it facilitates enhanced patient tracking and records management.
• Prior involvement in community outreach or educational programs focused on mental health awareness and coping strategies.

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 90,000 and 110,000, commensurate with experience.
