Job description

Job Title: SAP PTP/MM Consultant ((PTP = Procure-to-Pay | MM = Materials Management)
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6-12 months Contract
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP PTP/MM Consultant to support and enhance our procurement, inventory, and materials management processes. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on SAP MM/Procurement configuration skills, good business understanding, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and support SAP PTP/MM modules (Purchasing, Inventory Management, Vendor Management, Material Master).
Work with business users to gather requirements and convert them into functional specifications.
Handle system enhancements, testing, troubleshooting, and user training.
Support integration with other SAP modules like FI/CO, SD, WM, Ariba, S/4HANA (as applicable).
Resolve incidents, change requests, and ensure smooth PTP process execution.
Participate in end-to-end project cycles: blueprinting, UAT, go-live, and post-go-live support.
Create documentation (config docs, test cases, SOPs).
Required Skills & Experience
8-10+ years of hands-on SAP MM / PTP experience.
Strong knowledge of:
Purchase Requisition (PR), Purchase Order (PO), Release Strategy
Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Inventory Management
Vendor Master, Source List, Pricing, Info Records
Material Master, Batch Management (optional)
Experience with SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills to work with business and IT teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Knowledge of Ariba, WM/EWM, or FI integration
Experience in ticketing tools (JIRA, ServiceNow, Solution Manager)
Understanding of GST/Taxation (depending on region)
Education
Bachelor's degree / Masters' Degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field.
