The Akamai Inference Cloud team is part of Akamai's Cloud Technology Group. We design, implement, deploy and operate AI platforms that enable customers to run inference models and developers to create AI applications with unmatched performance, compliance, and economics. Partner with the best As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will require technical understanding of AI/ML systems, exceptional organizational and program management skills, and proven experience leading large‐scale technical programs at the speed of the AI market.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for: Leading end‐to‐end program planning and execution for major AI platform initiatives, which includes defining technical roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and risks. Driving cross‐functional alignment on priorities, timelines, and resources, and ensuring cross‐functional activities and deliverables complete on time and within scope. Leading the Product Development Process and the full software development lifecycle and release process for AI products and solutions.

Leveraging technical expertise to lead complex projects, and managing programs from concept to market, including planning, risk, and schedule management. Establishing program metrics, tracking progress, monitoring updates, communicating changes to leaders, and offering guidance while mentoring team members. Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have 8 years of relevant experience in technical program management, cloud infrastructure engineering or AI/ML or its equivalent.

Be comfortable navigating ambiguity, handling risks, and shifting gears as needed. Inspire people at all levels of the organization without authority. Demonstrate ability in change management and transformation processes.

Have significant experience in Agile processes and methodologies. Thrive in a fast‐paced environment having to manage high visibility, time‐sensitive, large scale complex programs. Have good domain knowledge in cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, distributed systems, or AI/ML inference workloads (experience with GPU infrastructure).
