PRIMARY FUNCTION:ย 

The Employee Experience team is focused on creating and delivering exceptional experiences. We are ambassadors of our people,ย cultureย and core values, and we partner with our leadership team to ensure the success of our people and our organization.ย 

The Manager, Employee Experience manages a broad and integrated portfolio of employee experience initiatives.ย This role owns a focused portfolio which includes the new hire onboarding experience and thorough analysis of employee engagement surveys. This is a pivotal role, shaping,ย overseeingย and administering the end-to-end process for employee experience initiatives across ADL.ย 

Responsibilities

Primary:

  • Learning & Development:ย Curate, develop andย maintainย engaging, impactfulย programsย and experiencesย including new hire onboarding and the intern program.ย ย 
  • Performance Management:ย Support ADL's performance management cycle and feedback initiatives, ensuring alignment with goals andย continuous improvement strategies.ย 
  • Employeeย Engagement:ย Supportย ADL'sย engagementย survey strategyย by turningย analyzed dataย intoย strategic themes and actionable recommendations.ย 
  • Management & Administration:ย Administer andย projectย manageย Employee Experienceย tasksย includingย the annual calendar,ย LMSย and vendor relationships.ย 
  • Stakeholder Partnership:ย Serve as an internalย thought partner, stayingย current onย industryย trendsย andย best practicesย toย incorporate intoย theย Employee Experience strategy.ย

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles including ADDIE and Kirkpatrick's Levels of Evaluation;ย 
  • Master facilitator & ISD-proficient in tailoring content to diverseย audiences;.ย 
  • Proven success in designing engaging, creative,ย scalableย and impactful programs;ย 
  • Ability to use data and evaluation frameworks to assess outcomes and drive continuous improvement;ย 
  • Instructional design (ISD) experience creating and designing content for varied modalities (in-person, virtual, and self-paced);ย 
  • Proficiencyย in the following platforms: Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Box, Asana, Absorb LMS,ย Canva,ย and other related systems.ย

Work Experience: ย 

  • The ideal candidate canย demonstrateย a progressive increase in responsibility and skills in L&D, Talent Development, Performance, Leadership, OD or HR, and experience designing,ย facilitatingย and managing projects, initiatives and programs that support the employee experience.ย 

Education: ย 

  • Bachelor's degree in L&D, OD, HR, relatedย fieldย or equivalent professional experience.ย 

Work Environment:ย 

  • ADL is a hybrid environment; this role will require 3 days in the office. ย 

Compensation:

  • This position has a salary range of $90,000 to $105,000. This salary range is reflective of a position based in (New York,ย NY).ย Please note that actual salaries areย commensurateย with experience and reflect the budget for a given position, and since ADL has a location-based compensation structure, there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.For an overview of our total rewards package, please visitย https://www.adl.org/about/careers.ย
