Description

Quantum Sky is searching for a Director of Cloud Operations. This role will serve as a strategic and operational leader responsible for managing corporate contracts, overseeing monthly financial reporting, revenue assurance, and strengthening vendor and partner relationships. This role is essential in ensuring seamless business operations, optimized processes, and consistent cross-functional performance. Candidates must bring proven experience supporting professional services organizations, with a strong understanding of how service delivery, financial management, and partner coordination intersect.

Responsibilities:

Contract Management

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of customer, partner, and vendor contracts, from negotiation through renewal.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met and maintain documentation accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and delivery teams to support contract strategy and risk mitigation.

Financial Oversight

  • Review and analyze monthly corporate financials, including P&L, budget-to-actuals, forecasts, and operational metrics.
  • Ensure collection and accurate recognition of revenue on a monthly basis
  • Partner with Finance to ensure reporting accuracy and to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
  • Provide executive-level insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.

Vendor & Partner Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and strategic partners.
  • Evaluate partner performance, negotiate terms, and identify opportunities for improved value, efficiency, or collaboration.
  • Ensure alignment between vendor/partner capabilities and organizational objectives.

Operational Leadership

  • Implement and refine business processes to improve efficiency across delivery, sales, and back-office functions.
  • Work closely with executive leadership to support organizational scaling, resource planning, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Support internal teams by establishing clear operational frameworks, KPIs, and communication rhythms.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in business operations or related leadership roles, with at least 3 years in a professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in contract management, financial reporting, and vendor/partner oversight.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote-first environment and collaborate effectively across distributed teams.

Desired:

  • Experience working in technology, cybersecurity, consulting, or government-focused professional services.
  • Familiarity with compliance-heavy environments (e.g., FedRAMP, SOC2, ISO frameworks).
  • Residency in Virginia, Washington D.C., or Maryland.

Compensation:

  • Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $160,000-$180,000. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
