Description
The Senior Business Process Analyst plays a key role in supporting and optimizing SuccessFactors cloud solutions and the integrations that connect to SAP S/4 HANA. This senior role delivers high-impact functional and technical solutions with a strong emphasis on troubleshooting, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement. The position partners closely with HR and Payroll to enhance core HR operations, ensure system stability and
drive the effectiveness of SuccessFactors Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll and related integrations across the organization.
Examples of Duties
  • Serve as the senior functional lead for SuccessFactors Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll, overseeing configuration, testing, issue resolution, and continuous improvement
  • Partner with HR and Payroll stakeholders to gather requirements, design system enhancements, and streamline cloud-based processes
  • Lead testing cycles for configuration updates, integrations, quarterly releases, and new module deployments, ensuring system reliability and consistent user experience
  • Oversee and validate payroll processes and compliance tasks including tax updates, BSI configuration, and year-end activities such as W-2 and 1099 generation
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data replication between SuccessFactors, EC Payroll, and SAP S/4HANA systems
  • Support and enhance integrations across the SuccessFactors landscape (Employee Central, Payroll, Time, and others) to maintain seamless end-to-end HR processes
  • Create, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards using analytical tools such as Power BI, SAP reporting, or SuccessFactors reporting components
  • Document system configurations, functional specifications, and business process workflows; develop training materials and facilitate user training
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR and Payroll processes and lead cross-functional initiatives to drive system and process improvements
  • Provide guidance, best practices, and functional oversight to junior analysts and project teams

Typical Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, HR, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 6+ years of experience supporting, configuring, or implementing SAP HCM or
    SuccessFactors modules (Employee Central, EC Payroll, Benefits, Time Off, or others)
  • Experience with Employee Central Payroll or SAP-based payroll integrations
  • Experience supporting integrations between SuccessFactors and SAP S/4HANA
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to mentor junior staff and support governance or process-standardization initiatives in a senior capacity
  • Familiarity with BSI Tax Factory preferred
  • Knowledge of Power BI or other analytical/query tools
  • Must pass a drug test and meet onsite work requirements

The Fairfax Water Health Plan is offered to all permanent full time employees and their eligible dependents. We offer self-insurred bundled medical, dental and vision plans administered by a third party administration.
Coverage is effective 1st day of month after hire if hired between the 1st and 15th of the month. If hired between the 16th and 31st of the month, coverage is effective the 1st day of the 2nd month after hire.
Group Life Insurance - Employee Cost Month

Additional supplemental life insurance request requires you to submit an evidence of insurability form (EOI).
Dependent spouse and/or child - $2.55 per month cost for either spouse only, children only or both.
The Group Life Insurance Plan is offered to all permanent full time employees. Effective date follows same rule as health insurance.
Long-Term Disability
Effective after 36 months of employment with Fairfax Water. Benefit is equivalent to 66.7% of base pay at no cost to the employee.
Fairfax Water Retirement Plan - Is a defined benefit plan in which all regular full time employees are enrolled in at time of hire at no cost to employees. Employees are vested after five years of service.
457 Plan - Is a deferred compensation plan which employees can voluntarily participate in with either Pre-tax or Post-tax contributions to maximum contribution as established by the IRS on a yearly basis.
Additional Benefits
Flexible Spending Accounts: Fairfax Water offers a Medical Flexible Spending Account where employees may contribute up to $3,400 per year on a pre-tax basis for eligible expenses. Fairfax Water offers a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account where employees may contribute up to $7,500.00 per year on a pre-tax basis for eligible child-care expenses.
Child/Adult Care Reimbursement: Employees with household incomes up to $118,400 my be eligible for an annual subsidy for licensed child/adult care ranging from $1,600.00 to $4,000.00 depending on eligibility.
Paid Family & Medical Leave
Up to 240 continuous hours of paid leave in a rolling 12-month period for qualifying continuous absences that are covered under the Family and Medical Leave Act.
Professional Development: Reimbursement of approved attendance at professional conferences and seminars.
Direct Deposit of pay. Pay days are bi-weekly on Thursday.
