ERP Workday Payroll Coordinator

📍 Location: Golden, CO 80401 (Onsite/Hybrid; Remote may be considered for highly qualified candidates)

📅 Duration: 8 Months

Schedule: Full-Time (40+ hours per week)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ERP Workday Payroll Coordinator to support a major payroll transformation and Workday implementation initiative. This role requires a payroll professional who can provide hands-on payroll expertise, support testing and validation activities, develop operational documentation, and guide teams through a successful Workday go-live transition.

The ideal candidate will combine deep payroll knowledge with strong leadership and collaboration skills, helping ensure operational readiness while working closely with payroll staff and implementation partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support payroll testing activities, including data validation, payroll reconciliation, and issue resolution during parallel testing.
  • Analyze payroll processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Assist in preparing the organization for Workday Payroll go-live activities.
  • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training materials, and operational readiness documentation.
  • Provide payroll best-practice guidance and recommendations to project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with payroll teams, implementation consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Track payroll-related issues, facilitate resolution efforts, and document outcomes.
  • Support change management and user adoption activities related to payroll processes.
  • Help establish structure, accountability, and operational readiness throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Participate in payroll process reviews, testing cycles, and post-go-live support planning.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive payroll processing and payroll operations experience.
