Summary of Position:
Under the direct supervision of the Payroll Systems Manager, the Payroll Systems Specialist is responsible for day-to-day support needs along with improving Oracle Cloud as it relates to Payroll and the transactions and setup surrounding the Oracle Payroll function. This position will be responsible for supporting the Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll users along with ticket resolution, testing, and maintenance of the Oracle Payroll System.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversees Payroll tickets for HCM Help Desk.
  • Researches, identifies, documents, and resolves payroll system issues ensuring timely resolution and communication.
  • Provides guidance and supports the HR, Payroll, Operations, HCM Support, and Accounting Teams as related to Payroll Oracle Cloud HCM functionality.
  • Submits and monitors Service Requests with Oracle Support for all Payroll Issues needing to be escalated to Oracle.
  • Assists with testing payroll related updates, corrections, and new requirements.
  • Creates and maintains payroll system documentation, test scripts, Quick Reference Guides (QRGs), and process documentation.
  • Assists with Year End Payroll Project and related Payroll system tasks.
  • Assists Payroll Systems Manager with technical initiatives as needed.
  • Executes unit testing of Oracle Fusion Quarterly Updates.
  • Informs management of any gaps and updates training documentation, as necessary.
  • Completes day-to-day duties with limited supervision.
