Job Description:
Under the leadership of the HIT Applications Manager, the System Analyst Iisresponsible forsupporting all aspects ofbuild, maintenance,break/fixand optimization in their assigned applications. This position collaborates with other application analysts, Clinical Informatics,InstructionalDesignersand users tomaintainandoptimizeMontage's electronic health record.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Development, testing,validationand maintenance of the Epic application
Serve as a resource in promoting the understanding,integrationand application of information technology inhealthcare settings
Developing andmaintainingan understanding of clinical,technicaland operational workflows to properlyoptimizetheassigned application.
Provide support to end users for software implementations, updates, andnew versionreleases and document projectissues.
Complete testing and workflow validation of assigned applications and modifications before implementation into all environments
Gathering end user requirements and evaluating complicated workflows by working directly with end users
Oversee implementation ofupgrades and service updates
Participatein oncall coverage rotation as assigned
Follow team standard operating procedures, polices, anduse organization standard templates
AssistHelp Desk withpatient-reported issues including issue investigation, resolution, andworkflow training
HIT departmental responsibilities
Maintaining focus on customer service and responsiveness
Excellentcommunicationboth written and verbal
Troubleshoot technical problems
Use of HIT tools, applications, and processes
Maintain fluency in HIT and industry best practices, tools, applications, certifications and
processes
Follow departmental and organizational policies and procedures
Required Experience:
- 1-3 years in technology or healthcare field
Preferred Experience:
- Project Management Experience
Education:
Bachelor's degree ina S.T.E.M. fieldrequired.Equivalentexperiencemay besubstituted.

Full time (exempt) This position is remote-local, must reside in California, work primarily from home and live within commuting distance to work location in Monterey, CA.
