Los Angeles Jewish Health has been a trusted provider of senior healthcare for over 100 years, offering a wide range of services that prioritize excellence and Jewish values. We serve more than 4,000 seniors across our San Fernando Valley campuses, delivering personalized care tailored to each individual's needs, from independent living to specialized healthcare programs.
The Brandman Centers for Senior Care (BCSC), a Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), provides high-quality, comprehensive healthcare services. We are a program of Los Angeles Jewish Health, renowned for providing quality care to vulnerable seniors.
The responsibilities of the Senior Director of Regional Operations include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
  • Lead key initiatives as directed by the SVP of Brandman across all program areas including but not limited to participant and staff satisfaction, compliance, growth, and program innovation (potential examples may include quality initiatives and trainings, emergency management program plans, community partnership development, level of care determinations and meeting support, and partnering with SVPs to optimize performance and achieve operational excellence across specified markets).
  • Oversee program areas and functions as identified by the SVP (potential examples may include transportation, engagement, behavioral health, marketing and enrollment, and day center operations such as hiring, training, supervising, and mentoring staff to ensure clear and effective workflows).
  • Provide interim executive leadership to fill key vacancies that include Acting Center Director and or any key leadership roles requested, which may include both remote and on-site coverage as needed.
  • Provide appropriate coverage to support the Program Director and needs of center operations inclusive of ensuring appropriate level of contracts meet prospective and enrolled participant needs.
  • Oversee center expansion activities including but not limited to alternative care sites and mobile clinic (physical plant, compliance, organizational structure inclusive of hiring, onboarding team members).
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of compliant, high-quality care, while maintaining regulatory standards.
  • Identify critical need areas for standardization and improvement, utilizing audits, on-site reviews, and other sources of inconsistencies or challenges, and implement solutions with teams as appropriate while ensuring financial efficiencies.
  • This leader will be covering our Southern California markets and traveling between sites 80% of time. Site locations span from Long Beach to North Hollywood and San Bernardino to Coachella Valley.

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; five (5) or more years of relevant management experience may be substituted; master's degree preferred.
  • PACE experience preferred.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in healthcare operations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix structure.
  • Experience managing teams and initiatives across multiple operational functions.
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of supervisory experience with the demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members in a senior care or healthcare program preferred.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, able to execute tasks in a quickly changing environment, and able to make sound decisions in emergency situations.
