As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will play an instrumental role in improving the mental health and emotional well-being of our clients. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Therapy.
• Developing personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, setting measurable goals, and regularly evaluating progress to inform ongoing therapy.
• Providing ongoing support to clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relational issues, with a focus on resilience and coping strategies.
• Facilitating group therapy sessions to foster community support, social interactions, and personal growth.
• Staying committed to professional development by expanding your clinical skills through training in specialized areas, such as trauma-informed care, addiction counseling, or grief therapy.

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse population of adults, adolescents, and families, experiencing a wide range of mental health issues. You will address complex emotional difficulties and trauma, and help clients navigate the challenges of modern life, contributing towards their journey of healing and personal growth.

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A completed Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current California State LMHC licensure.
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care, with a demonstrated ability to understand and support diverse backgrounds.
• Strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work efficiently within an interdisciplinary team.
• Capability to identify high-risk psychosocial factors affecting client health and wellbeing.

We prefer candidates with at least 2 years of experience in mental health counseling, including experiences with various therapeutic modalities, crisis intervention, and working within outpatient settings. Familiarity with telehealth practices and platforms is advantageous as this role will leverage technology in service delivery.

The compensation range for this role is between $110,000 and $130,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
