Notary Public-Sulphur Springs, AR
Work 100% remote, or hybrid. Work as an Independent Consultant (IC), Contractor; Temporary and Government Contracts.
Notary Publicsand Notary Signing Agents (NSA), come joinSybil Mobile Notary, a progressive growing company headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas, that encourages you to be independent while controlling your life balance. You will work as a full-time, part-time or independent contractor and control your own schedule and work expenses.
  • GeneralNotary Publics(NP) may handle private individual's, private and commercial companies, and provide notary services for federal, city and state awarded government contracts.
  • Notary Signing Agents(NSA) may handle closings for the mortgage industry at our office locations, remotely (RON), or travel to meet our clients at mutually agreed on locations.
Notary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Being present at the time of document execution (this may include traveling to clients' homes and businesses, performing notarizations in our office locations, or remotely (RON)
  • Verifying the identification of signers, witnesses, participants
  • Document execution(legally binding signatures)
  • Affirming the state of mind of all signers
  • Identifying fraud or coercion
  • Administering oaths
  • Handling affidavits, contracts, loan documents, court hearings, marriage certificates, and other legal documents
  • Bearing witness to items within a safe deposit box or the equivalent
  • Maintaining a notary journal as required by your commissioned state
  • Scheduling notary appointments
  • Attend SMN trainings and required events
  • Accept/decline new job orders and follow the rules of SMN and its clients
Requirements
  • Notary Certifications required
  • Meets all the states requirements to be a commissioned notary
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with legal documents and loan documents
  • Flexibility, professionalism is a must
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently and on a team
  • RON Certified notaries are a plus
  • Ability to speak and read in other languages is desired
