Job description

BroadPath, a Sagility Company, is hiring experienced Licensed Health Insurance Agents to join our remote team! In this fully remote role, you'll provide consultative support to customers calling in to explore health insurance options. You'll qualify callers, assess their needs, explain plan benefits, and guide them toward the most appropriate {Medicare or Under 65} plan when applicable. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the flexibility of a seasonal, work-from-home position. Schedules, pay rates, and program details may vary based on business needs and client assignment.
Compensation Highlights
  • Base Pay: Salaries starting at $20 per hour, with potential to earn more based on experience
  • Training completion bonus for those who have a 95% or higher attendance during training, and 100% attendance in the first week of production
  • End-of-season bonus based on performance, attendance, and client metrics
  • Project-specific incentives (details provided during your interview)
  • Bonus details will be provided during training
  • Pay frequency: Weekly pay

Schedule Highlights
  • Schedules can fall between the hours of Monday-Sunday, 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM Client Local Time, and will be assigned based on business needs

  • Use active listening and in-depth knowledge to complete a thorough needs analysis and recommend a plan that fits
  • Answer inbound calls from customers and walk them through health plan options
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with members and prospects
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor throughout the consultation process
  • Represent BroadPath and our client partners with professionalism and care
  • Work from the comfort of your own home with the support of a virtual team

Qualifications
  • Active resident Health Insurance Producer License
  • Ability to obtain reciprocal state health insurance licenses if required (fees covered by BroadPath/Sagility)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ successful season(s) as a Licensed Health Insurance Agent in a telesales environment
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time while maintaining focus and productivity in a remote work environment
  • Ability to multitask across multiple software platforms while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to confidently assume the sale and guide the conversation toward a successful close

What You Will Need to Provide
  • 19" (or larger) monitor with VGA or HDMI port and cable prior to your first day with BroadPath
  • USB-wired mouse and optional USB-wired keyboard
  • Ethernet cable with reliable hardwired internet (minimum 25mbps download / 10mbps upload)
  • Internet that is not hard-wired, such as WiFi or cellular data connections, will not maintain a stable VPN connection and will result in removal from the project
  • Maintain a private, distraction-free work-from-home environment to protect member confidentiality and eliminate background noise
