Reports to: Senior Director of Marketing and Communications

Works Closely With: All Internal stakeholdersย 

Classification: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000/year

Designation: Remote working in the Eastern Time Zone. Position involves work-related travel in the United States two times per year including the Annual Conference in March of each year and an All Staff retreat in July of each year.ย

Job Description

The American Montessori Society (AMS) is seeking a highly organized, data-driven, and creativeย Marketing Manager to lead theย organizationโ€™sย marketing efforts.ย This roleย combinesย strategy, execution, technology, and storytellingย to create campaigns that resonate with our audience and elevate the brand.ย ย 

The ideal candidate is aย HubSpotย guruย who can build sophisticated audience journeys, improveย contentย segmentation, provide up to date campaignย reporting, and help AMS deepen engagement acrossย theย Montessori communityย at large.ย A successful marketing manager isย highly-collaborative,ย aย proactive self-starter, andย thrives in a mission-driven environment: theyย enjoyย creating structured approaches to complex problemsย and can confidently manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.ย 

Key Responsibilitiesย ย 

Email Marketingย andย HubSpot Managementย 

  • Build, test,ย optimize, andย sendย email campaignsย for all AMS products and offeringsย including newsletters, event promotions, membership communications, fundraising campaigns, andย professional development opportunitiesย ย 

  • Leverage segmentation, automation, personalization, and A/B testing to improve engagement and conversionย ย 

  • Build, manage, and optimize HubSpot workflows, automations, lead nurturing campaigns, forms, landing pages, lists, reporting dashboards, and integrationsย ย 

  • Maintain CRM data integrity and audience segmentation strategiesย ย 

  • Help developย scalable marketing operations processes, templates, and campaign workflowsย ย 

  • Manage campaign tracking, reporting, and marketing analytics

Campaignย andย Creative Managementย 

  • Lead end-to-end project management for integrated marketing campaigns fromย conceptionย through launch and reportingย ย 

  • Coordinate timelines, stakeholders,ย creation ofย creative assets, approvals, and deliverables across teamsย ย 

  • Manage marketing calendars and campaign workflows using Monday.comย 

  • Help maintain brand consistency across digital, print, email, social, and event marketing materialsย ย 

  • Coordinate cross-channel promotional campaigns across email, social media, web, and paid or partner channelsย ย 

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensureย accurate execution of promotion and deliverablesย ย 

Social Mediaย 

  • Maintain and manage contentย calendars across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTubeย ย 

  • Collaborate on the development and execution of social media and content strategiesย ย 

  • Support creation and distribution of digital content including graphics, video clips, short-form content, event recaps, and thought leadershipย ย 

Data, Analytics,ย andย Reportingย 

  • Track and analyze campaign performance across email, social media, web, andย otherย channelsย ย 

  • Contribute toย dashboards and reports that translate metrics into actionable insightsย ย 

  • Use data to inform strategy, optimize campaigns, and improve audience experiencesย ย 

  • Continuously evaluate and improve marketing systems, processes, and performance, while using metrics to provide actionable recommendations

Qualifications

Requiredย 

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, digital marketing, communications,ย andย campaign managementย ย 

  • Deep expertise in HubSpot,ย including marketing automation, workflows, email marketing, reporting, segmentation, and CRM managementย ย 

  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-channel marketing campaignsย ย 

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailย ย 

  • Experience with email marketing strategy, automation, and analyticsย ย 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environmentย ย 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skillsย ย 

  • Experience working collaboratively across departments and with external vendors or partnersย 

  • Experience working in a nonprofit, education, membership association, or mission-driven organizationย ย 

  • Interest in the Montessori communityย ย 

Preferredย 

  • Familiarity with project managementย platformย Monday.comย 

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM integrationsย ย 

  • Experience supporting conference or event marketingย ย 

  • Working knowledge of Canvaย orย Adobe Creative Suiteย 

  • Experience with social media management and digital content productionย ย 

  • Understanding of audience development and lifecycle marketing strategiesย
