Job description

Job Summary

Aptive Resources is seeking a Management Analyst to support the Non-Profit Program Office (NPPO) within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Research and Development (ORD).

This role supports program operations, auditing and compliance monitoring, stakeholder coordination, reporting, and administrative activities associated with VA-affiliated nonprofit corporations (NPCs). The Management Analyst will assist with tracking program activities, coordinating communications, monitoring compliance-related actions, supporting governance activities, and preparing reports and analyses to support NPPO leadership.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills and experience supporting complex programs involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and regulatory requirements.

This is a full-time (40 hours/week), 100% remote position.

It is currently funded through September 29, 2026 under the current contract period of performance, with potential for extension into the next option year based on contract continuation and program needs.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support program administration and operational activities associated with VA-affiliated nonprofit corporations.
  • Coordinate communications and information requests among NPPO staff, nonprofit corporations, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain tracking systems, action item logs, compliance records, and program documentation.
  • Assist with monitoring compliance-related activities, reporting requirements, audit follow-up activities, and corrective action tracking.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, presentations, and briefing materials for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support nonprofit governance, oversight, compliance monitoring, and program evaluation activities.
  • Analyze program data and identify trends, issues, or opportunities for process improvement.
  • Coordinate meetings, document meeting outcomes, and track follow-up activities.
  • Assist with policy implementation, procedural updates, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support special projects and operational initiatives, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, healthcare administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience supporting program operations, compliance activities, project coordination, or administrative analysis in a complex organization.
  • Experience coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience developing reports, presentations, and tracking mechanisms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
