About us

Ezwim, a Netherlands-based company within the global Harris Computer family and Constellation Software group, is looking for a proactive DevOps / SysOps Engineer to help operate, secure, and continuously improve our cloud infrastructure.

In this role, you will work across cloud operations, automation, monitoring, and deployment processes, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our platform. You'll collaborate closely with development and operations teams while helping drive the adoption of AI-assisted operations (AIOps).

This is a remote role within the Netherlands or Germany, with occasional on-site collaboration as needed.

At Ezwim, we believe the future of operations is not just about keeping systems running-it is about continuously asking:

"How could AI make this better?"

If that question excites you, we'd love to hear from you.

What you will do

Your key responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

Cloud Infrastructure & Operations

  • Manage cloud infrastructure, networking, DNS, certificates, VPN, and security controls

  • Ensure platform reliability, performance, and cost efficiency

Platform Engineering & Automation

  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and Ansible

  • Manage CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and deployment processes

  • Support application deployments and platform integrations

  • Administer and secure Linux-based environments (Oracle Linux and Ubuntu), ensuring stability, compliance and operational excellence.

Monitoring & Reliability

  • Maintain observability, alerting, and operational dashboards

  • Improve incident response, root-cause analysis, and operational excellence

AIOps & Innovation

  • Evaluate and adopt AI-assisted tooling where it delivers measurable value

  • Help drive the evolution from traditional DevOps towards intelligent operations

What we are looking for

Required skills & experience

  • Hands-on DevOps, SysOps, or Cloud Operations background

  • Linux administration - Oracle Linux and/or Ubuntu

  • OCI or comparable hyperscaler experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and/or Ansible

  • CI/CD with Jenkins and GitLab; Kubernetes cluster operations

  • Networking fundamentals: DNS, TLS/PKI, VPN, load balancing

AI & AIOps orientation - key differentiator

  • Genuine curiosity about how AI is reshaping infrastructure and operations

  • Familiar with AIOps, MLOps, or AI-in-DevOps trends and able to discuss them

  • Comfortable working with AI coding assistants and evaluating their output critically

  • Energised by the evolution of the DevOps role - sees it as opportunity, not threat

Personal attributes

  • Self-starter, analytical, and a strong troubleshooter

  • Clear communicator - including on AI topics - with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Comfortable with ambiguity; collaborative and knowledge-sharing by nature

  • Flexibility in working hours

  • Fluent in English; Russian and Dutch are a plus

Benefits

  • A pivotal role at the intersection of cloud operations and AI-driven automation

  • Time, tools, and budget to explore AIOps - this is part of the job, not a side project

  • 25-30 days of vacation depending on country of employment (plus additional time off on special occasions)

  • Broad variety in Harris training and development programs including AI and AIOps certifications

  • Financial benefits (including company pension scheme, corporate benefits, and capital-forming benefits)

  • Annual Lifestyle Reward amounting 325 per annum/pro rata (only Netherlands)

  • Monthly tax-free cash allowance of 50 via Probonio - which you can use flexibly for shopping, filling up your car or leisure activities (Germany)

  • Promotion of a positive work environment and culture (including regular events)

  • A no-nonsense team culture within a stable global group

Supporting your application

Our recruitment process will comprise of interviews and, at times, a written exercise, an assessment day and/or a presentation. As an equal opportunities' employer, we want to make sure we do all we can to make this a positive experience for you. If your application is progressed, please make us aware of any adjustments or additional support we can provide you with.
