Sales Director – Sweden
Location: Sweden, Gothenburg or Stockholm (Remote/Office-Based)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

The Sales Director is critical for the growth of our Global Freight Forwarding business within Sweden.

How you will contribute
  • Develop and implement regional freight forwarding sales strategy aligned with DP World’s global objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance.
  • Generate effective leads and opportunities based on your existing network and book of business.
  • Meet and exceed financial growth targets for both the team and yourself.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers at all levels within customer organizations.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer expectations, operational solutions, and market challenges.
  • Understand customer buying processes and identify all influences and requirements.
  • Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of opportunities, quantifying value and win probability.
  • Coordinate RFQs and own commercial relationships and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal commercial processes and thresholds.
  • Foster collaboration across Account Management, Operations, Tender Management, and other functions.
  • Partner with colleagues in other regions on broader opportunities for global customers.
  • Act as an ambassador for DP World, promoting positive behaviors and safety standards.
  • Travel across Sweden and internationally as required (30–60%).
Qualifications
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Experience
  • Minimum 10 years in transport, logistics, or freight forwarding, with a focus on international freight.

  • Existing book of business and freight sales experience is a strong asset.
