Job Summary: 

Set up and maintain production routings in Oracle - assign lot numbers, build job batches, and apply orders to the schedule.

Schedule the weekly melt requirements aligning production capabilities and customer demand. 

Process receiving reports and consumable orders, including requisitions and batch closeout.

Coordinate material shipments between UES facilities and outside suppliers and distribute schedules and notices to the affected departments.

Partner with Production Planning management and plant operations to make sure key priorities are understood and followed.

Learn the shipping and receiving process to backup coverage as needed for that position.

Troubleshoot job and batch problems with planning, the melt shop, and operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; an associate or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.

Sharp attention to detail 

Solid Excel skills and the confidence to learn a new ERP system.

Clear communication through all levels of the organization.

Willingness to work on the plant floor in PPE and put in occasional overtime.

Manufacturing, scheduling, shipping, or production-office experience; exposure to Oracle or another ERP/MRP system; coursework in supply chain or operations.
