Job description

A DAY IN THE LIFE
As a Project Scheduler, you'll support Blattner's Operations and Project Management teams by creating, updating, and analyzing resource-loaded project schedules. You'll work closely with Project Managers to keep schedules accurate, aligned with project progress, and compliant with Blattner procedures and client contract requirements.
STEP INTO THE ROLE
  • Builds initial baseline schedule for complex projects ensuring compliance with Critical Path Method (CPM) best practices and contract requirements in accordance with Blattner policy and procedures.
  • Utilizes P6 health check to validate schedule against applicable DCMA metrics.
  • Supports schedule risk/range analysis under the direction of the Senior Scheduler.
  • Provides schedule updates to the project team in a timely manner to ensure all contract deliverable dates are met. Including weekly resource levelling.
  • Applies predefined schedule change scenarios and documents impacts; escalates variances for mitigation planning by project leadership.
  • Develops contractually required reporting as well as supplemental reporting requested by the project team or internal management. Including but not limited to look-ahead, variance and critical path reports.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • A bachelor's degree in construction management, Industrial Engineering Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field; or combinations of related education and experience required.
  • Two or more years of experience in project scheduling or a combination of experience in construction and scheduling.
  • Scheduling fore Gas or Heavy Industrial experience is required.
  • Ability to Travel up to 25%.
