About this Role

At Brink Constructors, Inc., the scheduler will develop integrated project schedules, coordinate and integrate project schedule input from Project Managers and guide the baseline, process throughout the project lifecycle. The position will require the ability to analyze subcontractor-developed construction schedules and ensure consistent development of construction schedules according to sound industry practices.

Pay: This is an exempt/salary position. The pay range is $80,000 - $120,000. Pay may vary depending on location, skills, and experience.

Location/Travel: This position can be REMOTE, or based at one of Brink's offices in Princeton, MN, or Rapid City, SD.

Up to 25% travel required.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain project schedules
  • Develop and manage bid/proposal schedules, baseline schedules, and schedule updates. Understand schedule issues and coordinate the appropriate personnel to obtain and validate schedule information
  • Maintain project schedules including preparation, updating, revision, maintaining, coordinating and communicating project schedules to team members, management, and the client
  • Interface with clients, attend construction meetings, and provide statistical reports
  • Provide project and company management with the necessary tools for project schedule control
  • Compile and analyze historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future forecasting and planning
  • Analyze, evaluate, forecast, and report schedule performance against baselines
  • Collect and report progress, evaluate schedule variances, develop work-around plans, and coordinate resolution plans
  • Collaborate with project managers on schedule updates and changes
  • Utilize project management software to enhance scheduling and tracking efficiency
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on project schedules and milestones
  • Identify potential schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate project timelines with internal and external stakeholders
What You'll BringRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience using Oracle Primavera P6
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with high-voltage utility contracting project management
  • Knowledge of utility industry practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Tilos
