• Conduct thorough assessments during initial client appointments to accurately identify mental health conditions, utilizing standardized diagnostic tools and interviews.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, tailored to clients' unique emotional and psychological needs, incorporating evidence-based methodologies.
• Offer one-on-one therapy sessions through our telehealth platform, employing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness practices.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and family consultations as indicated, promoting open communication and support within various client systems.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, regularly adjusting plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document all client interactions meticulously within our electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and support staff, to deliver integrated and comprehensive mental health services.
• Engage in regular training opportunities and professional development programs to stay abreast of the latest advances in mental health treatment approaches and technologies.

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, which may include individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, as well as families seeking support and understanding during challenging times. The flexibility of telehealth allows you to reach clients from various backgrounds and circumstances, adapting your therapeutic approach to meet their specific needs and cultural contexts.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.
• Possession of a valid state license to practice as a mental health counselor in New York.
• Minimum of two years of direct experience in providing mental health counseling services.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a talent for building rapport and trust with clients.

• Experience working in a telehealth or remote counseling environment is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and telehealth technology.
