• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of clients to identify their mental health concerns, enabling the development of personalized and effective treatment plans.
• Facilitate confidential one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques tailored to the unique needs of each client, focusing on achieving their therapeutic goals.
• Provide clients with crisis intervention and support during distressing times, ensuring their immediate safety and mental wellbeing.
• Collaborate extensively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, medical providers, and peer support specialists, to create a holistic support system for clients.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical guidelines to uphold the highest standards of patient care.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with innovative counseling techniques and mental health trends.
• Contribute proactively to program development initiatives, offering ideas for the enhancement of existing counseling services.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mental health challenges, fostering understanding and support systems outside of therapy.

In this role, you will engage primarily with individuals, couples, and families facing a wide range of emotional and psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and other mental health conditions. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, necessitating a culturally competent approach to care that respects and incorporates their unique experiences and values.

• A Master's degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current professional licensure as LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of New York.
• Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to build rapport and trust with clients quickly, enabling an effective therapeutic alliance.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling setting working with diverse populations facing emotional challenges.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is advantageous, enhancing operational efficiency in managing client care.
• Experience providing counseling services to couples and families, utilizing appropriate therapeutic techniques to address relational dynamics.
• A commitment to cultural competence and an understanding of the significance of inclusivity in therapeutic practice.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to facilitate collaboration and effective client interactions.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, reflecting experience and qualifications.
