Job description

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Quality Assurance Specialist to support quality and compliance initiatives within a fast-paced, regulated environment. This role is responsible for reviewing work outputs, ensuring adherence to established standards, and driving continuous process improvements.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, and thrives in a collaborative setting while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality reviews of case work, reports, and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client standards
  • Identify trends, errors, and process gaps; recommend and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor production metrics and turnaround times to ensure service level expectations are met
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain detailed quality assurance records, audit logs, and reporting documentation
  • Investigate quality issues and partner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Provide feedback and coaching to staff to improve performance and quality outcomes
  • Assist with onboarding and training new team members on quality standards and processes
  • Support documentation preparation for audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and stakeholders to enhance quality processes

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative healthcare position (Patient access, insurance verification, medical assistant, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with data tracking, reporting, or audit processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or regulated environments
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements
  • Experience reviewing case files, audits, or documentation workflows

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
