Legacy House of Centennial Hills in Las Vegas, NV is looking to hire a full-time Assisted Living Med Tech to join our senior care team. Are you patient and friendly? Does starting a career in the medical industry excite you? If so, please read on!

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time position typically works five 8-hour shifts. We are currently looking to fill all shifts: AM, PM, and NOC!

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTED LIVING MED TECH

As an Assisted Living Med Tech, you ensure that all medication orders are in the system and given to our senior care residents. You administer all medications ordered by the physician. These may include oral medications, inhalers, eye drops, eardrops, and external topical medications. You also provide caregiving services about 10% of the time, making sure to offer dignity and respect. At times, residents will request assistance with personal care needs, including bathing, applying first-aid, or applying creams. You're always happy to lend a helping hand.

With attention to detail, you accurately document medical services delivered to residents as well as any significant changes in condition. You communicate with family members and appropriate staff in regards to personal care plans in place. You love building relationships with our senior care residents, and you feel good knowing you're making a difference!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Med tech certification
  • Physical ability to assist in lifting and transferring residents
