MED TECH - NIGHT SHIFT

Tara Plantation of Carthage

Night Shift

JOB SUMMARY:

Assures good housekeeping, supervision and personal care of the residents.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation.

Assists residents when needed for dressing, bathing, eating and bed making.

Assures that residents are dressed appropriately when in living areas of home or outside the building.

Takes and records temperature, pulse, respiration rate and blood pressure when appropriate or as directed by physician.

Administers and records medication and treatments as ordered by physicians.

Oversees shift operations, ensuring smooth workflow and supervision of staff to maintain high standards of care.

Performs other related duties as assigned in accordance with Minimum Standards.

EDUCATION

Knowing and protecting Residents privacy rights under new HIPPA rules.
