MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior OneStream Consultant to join our team. This is a fully remote opportunity.
At MANTECH, we are re-engineering the financial backbone of the U.S. Government. We provide highly configured, mission-critical Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) and Financial Close and Reporting solutions leveraging the OneStream platform.
As a Senior OneStream Consultant, you will serve as a technical lead and subject matter expert for our most complex implementations. You will work as the Architect, designing entire application modules, translating functional requirements into technical blueprints, and guiding a team of Lead Consultants and Associate Consultants to deliver high-performance solutions. You will own the technical quality of the application, ensuring performance business rules, streamlined security, and scalable data models.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Translate complex functional PPBE and government financial close requirements into technical architecture blueprints, system designs, and multidimensional data models (Cubes, Dimensions, Member Hierarchies) built for performance and scalability.
  • Own the overall technical quality of application deliverables; establish development standards, conduct code reviews, enforce best practices across business rules, custom dashboards, and data integration pipelines.
  • Architect, write, and optimize complex custom Business Rules (Finance, Parser, Connector, Event) using VB.NET/C#, custom assemblies, and advanced SQL procedures to extend platform functionality.
  • Lead system health, memory, and query tuning efforts; diagnose bottlenecks, troubleshoot complex application log traces, and optimize data loading and consolidation processing times.
  • Direct end-to-end integration strategies, including automated data pipelines, REST API integrations, security roles/group architecture, Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration, and Authority to Operate (ATO) technical artifact preparation.
  • Serve as the primary technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) in client-facing architecture sessions; identify technical project risks, articulate mitigation strategies, and present solutions to senior government stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance, task delegation, and mentorship to OneStream Developers and Associate Consultants across the software development lifecycle within an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Listen carefully to client and team needs, look beyond immediate "easy" solutions, and work collaboratively across MANTECH to deliver high-impact, high-quality outcomes that exceed customer expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive work experience in systems design, infrastructure, performance tuning/optimization, cloud architecture, software development, and deployment.
  • 5+ years of hands-on OneStream development and technical lead experience on enterprise implementations, demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery.
  • 4+ years of OneStream XF installation, environment configuration, database management, and system optimization experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in object-oriented programming with VB.NET or C# for custom business rules and assemblies.
  • SQL expertise (SQL Server or Oracle) for complex data manipulation, query optimization, and staging table architectures.
  • Deep understanding of Corporate Performance Management (CPM/EPM) concepts, multidimensional OLAP cubes, and complex financial rules/consolidations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
  • Experience with the federal Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process or federal financial management systems.
  • OneStream Certified Professional (OCP) - Lead Architect or Core Platform certification. Government Financial Manager (CGFM) certified or Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM).CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Hands-on experience supporting government Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and federal security baseline standards.
  • Prior experience in management consulting or professional services.

Clearance Requirements:
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain aPublic Trust clearance or higher.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering technical presentations and architecture reviews.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate technical information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $148,200.00-$263,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
