The role combines strong game engineering fundamentals with an AI-first approach to development and problem solving.
You'll work closely with designers, artists, producers, backend engineers, and QA to create polished multiplayer experiences.
Your work will span gameplay systems, UI, performance optimization, networking, automation, and platform-specific challenges.
You'll also help shape engineering standards and explore new AI-powered workflows that make development faster without compromising quality.
This is an ideal environment for a creative, technically strong developer who enjoys ownership, experimentation, and building games at scale.

Accountabilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality mobile games in Unity for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Build gameplay systems, UI, animations, VFX, audio features, and live-operations functionality using clean and scalable C# code.
  • Use AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, refactoring, documentation, and rapid prototyping while maintaining production-quality standards.
  • Critically review and validate AI-generated code before integrating it into production systems.
  • Collaborate with designers, producers, artists, backend engineers, and QA to deliver polished and engaging player experiences.
  • Prototype gameplay mechanics quickly, gather feedback, and iterate on features throughout development.
  • Optimize CPU, GPU, memory, battery usage, and overall performance across a broad range of mobile devices using Unity profiling tools.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex gameplay, networking, memory, and platform-specific issues.
  • Implement and maintain integrations involving REST APIs, WebSockets, and multiplayer networking.
  • Contribute to CI/CD processes, build automation, deployment pipelines, reusable systems, and internal development tools.
  • Participate in code reviews and help establish strong engineering standards and development practices.
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools and workflows that can improve development velocity while considering quality, security, and technical limitations.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and iterative development cycles.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Interactive Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience developing mobile games with Unity.
  • At least two shipped mobile game titles.
  • Excellent proficiency in C# and strong software engineering fundamentals.
  • Strong knowledge of Unity architecture, UI Toolkit or uGUI, prefabs, asset management, animation, audio, and scene management.
  • Experience developing both 2D and 3D mobile games.
  • Proven experience optimizing mobile applications across CPU, GPU, memory, and battery performance.
  • Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, multiplayer systems, or related networked game technologies.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and creative disciplines.
  • Comfortable using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Unity AI, or similar tools.
  • Ability to write effective prompts for technical development tasks and use AI to accelerate coding, debugging, documentation, testing, and refactoring.
  • Strong judgment when reviewing AI-generated output, with the ability to test, improve, and validate solutions rather than relying on them without verification.
  • Understanding of the limitations, risks, and security considerations associated with AI-assisted software development.
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to continuously experiment with new development workflows.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary.
  • Remote-first and flexible working environment.
  • Digital nomad-friendly culture.
