OverviewTheย Associate Director, Servicing Implementationย Oversightย &ย Readinessย roleย is responsible forย overseeingย ย servicingย implementation readiness,ย executionย governance,ย ย andย operational execution activities supporting the deployment ofย technology, includingย aย servicing platform.ย This role ensures accountable delivery teams execute against approved implementation and readiness requirements.ย ย
This role serves as the primary implementationย oversightย liaison betweenย our technologyย and servicing partners, ensuring implementation activitiesย remainย aligned to programย objectives, readiness requirements, delivery timelines, operational dependencies, and go-live expectations. The Associate Directorย is responsible forย establishingย visibility, accountability, and governance across implementation workstreamsย ensuring accountableย teamsย ย executeย against implementation milestones, readiness checkpoints, and operational commitments.ย
Acting as a strategic bridge between business, operations, technology, product, program management, and servicing stakeholders, this role ensures implementation activities are effectively coordinated,ย monitored, and escalatedย from planning through production readiness. The individual will work closely with internal leadership and external servicing partners toย identifyย risks, remove obstacles,ย facilitateย decision-making, andย maintainย alignment across complex implementation efforts.ย
The ideal candidate combines deep mortgage servicingย expertiseย with implementation leadership experience, strong stakeholder management capabilities, and a demonstrated ability to coordinate large-scale servicing technology deployments, operational transformations, or platform migrations.ย
This is a highly collaborativeย oversight, governance,ย and execution-focused position supporting servicing transformation, operational modernization, and evolving implementation initiatives in a fast-paced environment.ย
This is a fully remote position that offers a competitive salary range of $145,000 to $180,000 USD, plus an annual bonus. ResponsibilitiesImplementation & Program Coordinationย
- Overseeย coordination of servicing-related implementation and operational initiatives across business, operations, technology, and vendor stakeholders.ย ย
- Maintain visibility into active workstreams, dependencies, risks, open items, and key decisionsย impactingย initiative execution.ย ย
- Drive accountability and follow-through byย tracking action items, deliverables, milestones, and escalation points.ย ย
- Partner closely with operational, product, implementation, and technology teams to ensure alignment across initiatives and priorities.ย ย
- Organizeย implementation activities, working sessions, governance meetings, and status reporting.ย ย
- Identifyย execution gaps, communication breakdowns, risks, or dependency concerns and elevate appropriately.ย
- Partner with program management leadership to support coordination, execution tracking,ย implementationย readiness, and cross-functional follow-through across strategic initiatives.ย ย
- Provide operational and coordination support for evolving program needs, special projects, leadership priorities, and implementation activities as initiatives mature and expand.ย ย
- Coordinateย preparation of governance materials, implementation updates, leadership reporting, meeting coordination, and follow-up activities as needed to support overall program execution.
Implementationย Governance & Readinessย
- Serve as the primaryย implementationย coordinationย leadย betweenย the technology teamsย and servicing partners, ensuring implementation activitiesย remainย aligned with agreed-upon deliveryย objectives, milestones, and readiness expectations.ย ย
- Overseeย and coordinate implementation governance activities, readiness checkpoints, implementation scorecards, risk reviews, and escalation processesย establishedย by program leadership.ย
- Monitor implementation progress againstย the Implementation & Readiness Framework, ensuringย accountable teamsย remainย responsibleย for deliverables, commitments, and timelines.ย ย
- Confirm accountable teamsย completeย required readiness evidence, artifacts, decisions, and approvals before key reviews.ย
- Coordinateย implementationย readiness assessments across operational, business, technology, compliance, training, and support functions.ย ย
- Identifyย implementation risks, execution gaps, decision bottlenecks, and dependency concerns andย facilitateย resolution throughย appropriate governanceย channels.ย ย
- Coordinateย implementationย milestone reviews, go-live readiness evaluations, and executive status reporting.ย ย
- Maintain visibility into overallย implementationย health, including scope, timeline, readiness, dependency management, and issue resolution.ย ย
- Leadย preparation and coordination of implementation reviews, readiness assessments, and executive reporting activities.ย
- Monitor and track partner progress againstย implementationย readiness plans, ensuring required activities, deliverables, decisions, and milestones are completed in support of deploymentย objectives.ย
- Maintain visibility into readiness status across business, operational, technology, training, and support workstreams and escalate concerns that mayย impactย implementation timelines or deployment readiness.
Servicing Partner Delivery Coordinationย
- Serve as the primaryย implementationย coordination point of contactย for servicing partnersย and external stakeholders.ย ย
- Coordinate implementation planning, readiness reviews, dependency management, issue resolution, and milestone tracking across partner organizations.ย ย
- Ensure servicing partners understand implementation requirements, operational expectations, readiness obligations, and delivery commitments.ย ย
- Facilitate resolution of cross-organizational issuesย impactingย implementation timelines, readiness, or deployment activities.ย ย
- Provide executive visibility intoย implementationย progress, risks, readiness concerns, and required decisions.ย
- Facilitateย alignment across servicing partners, leadership, product teams, and program stakeholders throughoutย implementationย lifecycles.
Operational & Strategic Supportย
- Serve as a centralย oversightย andย coordinationย point for servicing operational and implementation activities.ย ย
- Monitorย efforts focused on improving andย modernizing servicingย processesย through the use ofย existing and emerging technologies.ย ย
- Synthesize information across multiple stakeholders into clear summaries, status updates, and executive-ready materials.ย ย
- Ensureย development and maintenance ofย implementationย artifacts, issue logs, dependency tracking, governance documentation, and operational materials.ย ย
- Overseeย prioritization and coordination of servicing-related requests, operational needs, and cross-functional follow-up items.ย ย
- Maintain transparency into initiative progress, operational readiness, and implementation activities.ย
- Coordinateย additionalย strategic, operational, and implementation-related initiatives and responsibilities as needed in a dynamic and evolving environment.ย
Stakeholder Management & Communicationย
- Build strong working relationships across servicing operations, technology teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.ย ย
- Facilitate collaboration between operational and technical teams to support successful initiative execution.ย ย
- Ensure meetings, discussions, and decisionsย resultย in clear ownership, accountability, and actionable next steps.ย ย
- Coordinateย escalation management and coordination of issue resolution activities.ย
Qualifications- 7+ yearsย overseeing,ย coordinating,ย ย orย leadingย residential mortgageย servicing implementations, platform conversions, servicing transfers, technology deployments, or operational transformation initiatives.ย ย
- Demonstrated experience coordinating large-scale cross-functional implementation programs involving business, operations, technology, and third-party stakeholders.ย ย
- Strong understanding of mortgage servicing operational domains and servicing lifecycle processes.ย ย
- Experience developingย implementationย governance structures, readiness frameworks, executive reporting, and delivery oversight processes.ย ย
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive accountability across organizations without direct reporting authority.ย ย
- Strong executive communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.ย ย
- Experience supporting servicing platform implementations, servicing system conversions, or major operational modernization initiatives.ย
