Job description

Description:

Implementation Specialists will work with the Broker/Group on all Direct and TPA cases (new and transitions onto the Platform). They will also confirm Implementation has been completed with the Carrier. The Implementation Specialists will work with the Broker/Group through data collection & carrier submission and successfully hand-off each case to the Account Management / Customer Service Team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Pre-Implementation OR NLOC at Renewal

  • At the request of GIS sales reps, attend demo calls & send debriefs to clients & brokers.
  • Receive NOS and designate which Implementation Specialist will be assigned to the case
  • Conduct a kick-off call with GIS Sales Representative and Broker/Group to review the sold case (rule of thumb: 50+, but also set up calls based on case size, complexity, and broker relationship)

The Implementation Specialists will provide the Broker/Group with an “Implementation Timeline”

Confirm OE dates

Confirm all sold plan designs and rates

Confirm if anything additional should be added or built in the BenAdmin system

  • Request the following from the Carriers

Employer paperwork

Final sold proposal

Benefit Summaries – review for accuracy once received

  • Send the following to the Broker/Group

Employer paperwork – prefilled if possible

Benefit Summaries

GIS Checklist (if applicable)

TPA Agreements (if applicable)

  • Collect and review the following items from the Broker/Group

Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Previous administrative experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Carrier Eligibility system requirements preferred
  • Knowledge of business correspondence, filing and general office procedures
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel and Outlook
  • Skill in interpersonal and written communication
  • Skill in critical thinking, problem analysis and process documentation
  • Skill in following tasks through to completion
  • Ability to accurately compile data and perform detailed work
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of material and information

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
