Construction Project Manager โ€“ Hospitality (Travel Required, Midwest-Based OH-IN-KY-IL-MI)
Location: Remote (must reside in the Midwest OH-IN-KY-IL-MI)
Travel: Up to 75%
Salary: $70,000 โ€“ $80,000 annually
Overview
Planes and GWS are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our Hospitality Operations team. This role is responsible for managing projects from initiation through completion while maintaining strong client relationships, working with owner's reps/general contractors, overseeing logistics, and ensuring successful execution. The ideal candidate understands FF amp;E logistics and installation and thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and brings strong knowledge of hospitality project logistics.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle
โ€ข Manage communication from project initiation through close-out
โ€ข Oversee project scope, schedules, resources, and financials
โ€ข Coordinate with vendors for pricing, procurement, and change orders
โ€ข Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules
โ€ข Travel to project sites and serve as on-site lead when needed
โ€ข Handle client escalations and ensure timely resolution
โ€ข Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
โ€ข Collaborate with Operations leadership to improve processes
โ€ข Support continuous improvement and team collaboration efforts
Qualifications
โ€ข High school diploma or GED required; bachelorโ€™s degree preferred
โ€ข 5+ years of project management, customer management, or related experience
โ€ข Strong knowledge of hospitality logistics including FF amp;E, OS amp;E, warehousing, transportation, and installation coordination
โ€ข Proven experience managing budgets, forecasting costs, and tracking change orders
โ€ข Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
โ€ข Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently
โ€ข Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
โ€ข OSHA or jobsite safety knowledge is a plus
โ€ข Valid driverโ€™s license required
