About the initial project:
Join us for an unparalleled opportunity to spearhead an enterprise-wide application transformation at a prestigious top academic medical center. As the Program Manager, you will lead a groundbreaking initiative that touches all major applications and systems, setting a new standard in healthcare technology and integration. This ambitious, four-year program focuses on four pivotal areas:
  • Oracle Health/Cerner EHR Optimization: Enhance and streamline electronic health records to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
  • System Consolidation: Unify third-party clinical and operational systems within the comprehensive Oracle Health ecosystem, creating a seamless and integrated environment.
  • Revenue Cycle Transformation: Transition from a legacy Revenue Cycle system to a cutting-edge integrated Oracle Health Revenue Cycle, boosting financial performance and operational transparency.
  • ERP Modernization: Oversee the transition from PeopleSoft ERP to Oracle Fusion, leveraging the latest in enterprise resource planning technology to drive efficiency and innovation.

Although this program will be the initial focus of the role, this is a long-term position at T2 and a good candidate that excels with T2 in this initial multiyear program will be placed on other programs and clients if available following this engagement[KT2] .
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the strategy and implementation of assigned programs in partnership with the T2 principles responsible for the engagements
  • Coordinate and engage a large and diverse group of stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand future state possibilities and to gather feedback on requirements, risks, and opportunities
  • Consolidate and analyze all feedback to provide an overall assessment and define the full program scope ensuring organizational needs are met within the capabilities of what the systems can offer
  • Develop solution justifications and business cases, including investment alternatives to support project prioritization and budget planning
  • Develop and execute project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation
  • Monitor project progress, identify and address risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment through constant communication and realistic expectation setting
  • Manage team of project managers to effectively and efficiently execute on project goals and objectives
  • Manage the relationships with the external vendors involved and enforce accountability and quality delivery where required
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of project management tools and processes used with the delivery lifecycle
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet business needs

Requirements
  • Excellent client-facing and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience managing large-scale IT programs with multiple projects and stakeholders across multiple departments and disciplines
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare provider operations, applications, and industry standards
  • Understanding of Healthcare specific IT systems used in a provider setting such as the EHR, laboratory information systems, secure communications, PACS, bed management systems, interface engines, and clinical departmental applications.
  • Knowledge and experience with general ERP (including HCM) and Revenue cycle processes and operations
  • Experience implementing a Cerner Revenue Cycle System or Oracle ERP would be ideal but not required
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in risk identification, management and mitigation, and change management procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to work on and manage challenging projects with diverse cross-functional teams to achieve objectives with limited supervision and guidance
  • Ability to manage agile, waterfall and hybrid project management methodologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel and equivalent planning tools
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills
